Haus & Kinder
Retail | Mantri Square, Bangalore
Haus & Kinder, a D2C home, décor and beby essential brand launched their first store at Mantri mall, Bengaluru.

Concept Interpretation & Modularity
The concept draws inspiration from a European Chateau, interpreted through a contemporary and minimal lens that aligns with Haus & Kinder brand identity.
The material palette is composed of warm neutral tones, architectural detailing on the façade, rear wall and POS backdrop creates a classical touch to the store without overpowering the merchandise.

The fixtures combined with wooden and metal accents and custom developed wall and floor fixtures are inspired from the traditional European furniture detailing. This adds character and a unique and distinctive feature for the brand. A key consideration throughout the design development is flexibility and scalability. The fixtures area looked as modular units that can be adapted across different store formats and sizes.
The approach allows the brand to maintain a consistent visual identity across locations while providing the flexibility required for evolving product categories and store foot prints. Together, the Chateau-inspired architectural language and adaptable fixtures create a retail environment that is distinctive and commercially practical.

Customer Journey & Category PlanningThe adjacency of categories has been strategically planning to encourage cross selling. Each section is designed as a lifestyle vignette rather than a conventional retail display, which enables customers to visualize products with a real home setting.
This approach not only enhances product visibility but also reinforces Haus & Kinder’s positioning as a design-led home and lifestyle brand that caters to modern millennial customers.
